Cv style drive shaft

Has anyone else heard a clunk noise when taking off or shifting gears with a cv style rear drive shaft? Is this normal or is something wrong with the drive shaft.

I don't have a CV shaft, but I mine clunked when I had bad U-joints.

Are you sure its the shaft. Clunking is not normal. I would suggest verifying that all of your control arms and trackbars are properly torqued. Also check for damaged components.
