D30 re gear, orange rubber O-rings?

I am currently in the process of re-gearing my D30. The problem is while driving out the inner axle seals I damaged the orange rubber o-ring things in the case (just inside the axle seal) one side fell all the way out, the other just ripped in half. My question is, Is this a huge issue?, where can I get replacement Orange o-rings? Anyone with axle rebuild that can chime in with info would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a pic of what I am referring to (this is not mine just a internet stock photo, mine is currently missing)

I must be missing something. Typically the axle seals are a stamped metal housing with a rubber insert, similar to rear axle seals. The better ones have bent metal flare on the tube side that helps you guide the axle in without damaging the rubber. Some of the new seals will have an orange or green coating on them that functions as a sealer. Also, many folks including myself, will put a bead of RTV on the outer flat of the new seals where they go into the bore to avoid nuisance leaks if the bore has any burrs. I am unaware of any o-rings being used for axle seals on the D30.

Ah, the picture just showed up on my screen. That is orange RTV where the seals were put in. Looks like factory original.

Also could be where axle tubes were sealed when pressed into housing. Shouldn't be a problem

Ahh ok, the orange ring is not part of the seal they are the traditional steel seals, They appear to be the factory sealant used on the axle tubes, anyway it is now gone on my axle, maybe there will be no laeking issues after re-assembly. Maybe I shoild put a bead of rtv where the orange sealant was??

It's just extra sealant that squirted out when the tubes were pressed into the axle housing. Nothing to worry about.
