dash brake light on

Well, I did a search and came up empty, so here is my problem. I just finished replacing the broken axle shaft in my D35 and fixing the brake cyl. it took out. I also replaced the front brake lines for extended ones. I vacuume bled the brake lines and all was good but now the dummy light in the dash is still on. Is this a switch issue? If it is where is it? This has got me stumped. The brakes are good (solid peddle) no pulling to one side. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be great. Thanks, Mike

Its prob. the propotion valve, it the block the brake lines go into comming off the master cylinder. If the valve moved one way or the other the "idiot" light will stay on. Try bleeding the brakes again to move it back into position. Some blocks have bleeder valves on them for this problem and you just might need to bleed the valve......
Good luck.

You can also check your fluid level. If it is low the light will come on, but do not just add more fluid. It means that something is causing the fluid to be low ie worn brakes or a leak.
