Dash Modification

HEy All

Has anyone cut the metal under the plastic trim below the steering wheel? I'd like to put some switched in the panel?

Thanks,

Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil, that true love never dies. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in.

Don't know how technical you want to get, or how elaborate, but here is a link to an article on a full custom aluminum dash for a TJ. I am sure that you can glean some information on what you are looking for. I know from experience that the easiest way is just to drill/grind holes in the existing plastic and install rocker switches for your accessories, but if you are looking for something new and custom, check out the article written by our own khenderson!

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!
