Amazon is where i ordered mine
You'll have to cut out a chunk of the metal frame that holds your dash together but a pair of tin snips did the job for me
You can get adaptors lots of place. Ebay is full of them. People here have used nailin mfg. You may of may not have to trim the dash frame depending on what year TJ you have.
I bought a set of enclosed speaker boxes that fit right in to where the 4x6 speakers went. That way they are just not in free air. They make them to fit 4x6 and the 5.25. I ordered them from Quadratech
X3 on using Nalin Manufacturing for the adapter plate. Nalin provides lots of support on various Jeep websites and has been around a long time. There's not much to the plate and it could be made easy enough but not easy enough for most who just want to install a set of speakers and not have to buy and cut out the sheet metal. I'd just go with the Nalin adapter plate.
I see Nalin has been around for a while, MTX has the brackets that are angled up. Anyone experieced both and see much of a difference in SQ with the angled vs flat brackets?
