Dash Warning Lights

I have a 2002 Wrangler Sport with no manual. Does anyone have a guide for what the dash warning lights are? I just had one come on but no idea what it means.

It looks square and I think it is to the left of the check guages light that is not lit up.

Is it this one?

If so then that is your check engine light.

You can go here to see what the codes are:

And you can go here to see that they mean or do a search on here:

Well hopefully it won’t be too bad!

Here is the link to Jeeps web site so you can download the 2004 owner’s manual, it wont be exactly what you need but darn close. I don’t have one for mine either but Wrangler Forum is the only owner’s manual I need, you can figure anything out here!

P0340 = No Cam Signal At PCM

There is a TSB (technical service bulletin) out for the cam gears on late model wranglers.

I'll see if I can dig it up for you bud.

Okay Thanks will check back later. Tried opening closing the gas cap based on instructions from 2004 manual. Cycled through the gauges and indicators and now the light is off. I will keep my eye on it. Hope it is not the problem reading the cam. P0340 Thanks for the info and help.

If you mean a lightening bolt that is the KSS system. Ie. the chip in your key interfacing with the computer.

Not necessarily. We need to know what vehicle model chrisv has. If it's a JK, for example, then the lightning bolt means there is a problem with the electronic throttle control system.

Chris, does the light look like the red one on the left?

If so, it's an ETC issue.

2010 JK SAHARA Warning Lights

Hey. I have a 2010 JK. I have 3 warning lights on. Wondering if someone could help me with their combined meaning:

ABS
Car swerving (traction control?)
ESP BAS (can't remember the first 3 letters)

I changed my front break pads the day before, they all lit going about 45 around a turn (possibly hit a pot hole, unsure, road is rough there)

Now when I turn sharp the wheels sound the same as when you try to turn hard in 4Lo.
