Death wobble...

I just went wheeling in the snow for a couple hours today. I got on the free way got up to 65 and I think my jeep started to get the death wobble. Then I took it back off road and put it in 4hi and spun the wheels in the snow alittle. I got it back up to 65 after that and it felt normal. Does anyone know what could be causing this every once and awhile?

Snow or mud in the wheels. It will throw the tire off balance

So then just getting everything off the wheels and off the inside of the rims will most likely make that problem go away?

Unless there is another underlying issue it will and I agree with Distorted on this one. That was the first thing that came to mind when I read your post.
