did I screw up my t-case?

I changed the t-case fluid on my 2000 2.5 5-speed with Mobil 1 ATF. Is this going to ruin my t-case? I have but about 300 city miles on since the change. I used 4wd for the first time this morning getting to work and it felt fine.

Do I need to replace the fluid again?

Pretty sure ATF is what you are supposed to use...

you're fine.

the t-case can run on anything from 10w30 to ATF.

X2, the NP231 is not as picky as an auto tranny is and will take any ATF, specifically ATF+4

What is recommended is ATF+4, which is synthetic. And you put in Mobile 1 ATF which is .........synthetic. You should be fine.

Yeah, I have heard that the jeep transmissions are picky about their fluids, didn't know if the t-case was just as picky. I didn't know if there was a difference between ATF and ATF+4
