i actually just found a thread on quadratec jeep forum that says hydros have an overall smoother ride but may die out after a while, and the nitros have a worse ride but last longer. have you personally ridden both? or just the hydros?

This is not usually the case, hydro shocks are a MUCH more comfortable ride. However, there are a few companies that make a nice riding gas shock such as OME and Bilstein.

I am running the skyjacker hydros and have been pleased with them. I have had the shocks on for 2 and a half years with no issues.

Why would you dump so much money into shocks for that thing lol? and what are the purpose of the nerf bars, I dont think you could reach to use them as a step

Hes just one of those guys who loves spending money on trucks man if you seen his truck in person you would be amazed that thing pushes out 2000 hp from a 565ci chevy big block that shakes the ground. Hes selling it for $90,000 lol if only I had the money
