I remember years and years ago when I was shopping for tire racks for my TJ everybody told me not to do it because they rattle so much they had some other funky system outback then. Is this still true today? Or have they gotten that figured out?
I have one sitting in my garage. My wife bought it for me for Christmas.
From the looks of it, it is solid and sturdy. I am going to sand, primer and paint it soon.
The timeline from order to delivery was a couple of weeks (I want to say 6 weeks but my wife ordered it so I'm not exactly sure) but they are made when ordered -- he doesn't carry a stock of them.
Anyone know the distance from the tailgate to the back of the tire? I have this badass flag setup that uses the hitch and I want to make sure it'll fit
