DIY Quick Disconnect Question

So i read a thread or two on making my own quick discos. I ended up just putting hitch pin clips where the cotter pins were. I went to pull them out to test it out and the sway bar links wouldnt budge (little pressure on sleeve and bolt) only to find out that my front sway bar links are on the rear and the rear are on front. When i put on my zone lift i installed them backwards, i thought they were all the same... But the fronts have offset eyes and are on the rear. Oops. So ill be switching those tommorrow but my question is how easy should the fronts come off once their in the right place? How does everyone do it? Do they just slide off? Or what?

They will just pull off the studs if and when your front end is on level ground. Just make sure when you are at full droop, the sway bar link and sway bar aren't forming I straight line, there should be a slight angle difference, otherwise the link will "cam over" and bend like a pretzel

They arent forming a straight line, that much i do know. The links are extended from stock length. They came withmy 3 inch kit. The front and rear are same length which is why i assumed they were all the same. Didnt even check to see offset... Ok so level ground they should just slide right off with arm strength. Hopefully they will and after looking closer at them today thst would make sense since the sway bar and stud arent in line with each other, slightly offset which explains all my issues. Thanks! Ill post later on tomorrow once i get them all swapped out
