do i need to regear?

im looking at buying a used set of 31x10.5x15 tires and rims off craigslist. the tires are Trxus M/T. do i need to do anything to a stock 03 rubicon to make them work?

no...the 4.10 gearing in the rubicon is perfect for those tires. You wont have any problems at all.

Need some questions answered first. What is the backspacing on the rims? Some 31s will rub a little bit and some will not at full turn. That is really easy to fix though with a couple washers on your steering stops.

i dont know but they did fit on a stock tj before me. i dont know if they rubbed for him or not.

4.10 gears work decently with 35 inch tires...plus 03 TJ rubicons came stock with 31 inch tires. 245/75r16....
