Does anyone know what this is?

Doing a lift and I saw this on the frame, both sides right by the gas tank/back bumper area in the wheel well.

It has the numbers 811 on both sides. Just curious as to what it is for

Thanks in advance forum!

But it's not just a sticker and there is nothing behind it. It's like a piece of plastic glued or something to the frame. What does it stand for/mean?

I've seen a lot of Jeep frames over the years but I've never seen that sticker on any of them before.

yeah the 811 threw me also--than I remembered how much numbers codes and systems change in factories----so what might make sense for me could be the number of your Jeep number 811 for 1999---I was/and still am just guessing. Who knows could have been a shipper/"car haulers" number.--or maybe frame number. I am surprised someone hasn't come on and said for sure. We can't be the only 2

That indicates you have a "prime" frame.

or....

I had a similar question about the 710 plug on my engine.

I checked and its not related to the date from what I saw. I can't remember off hand what the exact date was but I think I remember it as may 1999

It's the number to Digsafe, be careful where you park.
Call 811 - Know what's below

Seriously though, could it be something from a frame repair shop.
