Door insert nuts

After searching high and low for the nuts that go on the bottom of the door inserts I finally found the man who has them. His name is Mike, in TN, and his number is 423-494-2000. 6 bucks each. He can set you up.

I got mine at Home Depot. They are smaller. I know most leave them off but with people steeling scrap metal I don't leave it to chance.

If someone wants to steal doors, they will try, see you have nuts on them, and come back with the tool to take them off if they want them that bad. Most guys won't just walk off with a jeep door. That's my $0.02. I live in an area where theft is pretty much a non-issue however.

I need them for our Steel Horse fiberglass half door tops. They seal down better if they are secured.

Very good points. I'm very anal retentive and until the nuts fall off or I change them for something else they're likely to stay in place. I may get the threaded pins though which will eliminate the need for nuts yet not have the threads exposed

Been going there for a few years now and as I have a second jeep under light restoration I have been using him quite a bit lately.

They do not ship the larger items but for OEM nuts, bolts, brackets, panels ect. they are great. They ship quite fast and I get most parts in 3 days

You can get a kit that uses an allen tool, the nuts are also stainless. No more worrying about rusted or messed up nuts. I got mine from Quadratic i think.
