Well I'm the proud owner of a 98 TJ but I have one problem my door wont open from the inside. The inside handle doesnt seem to have anything wrong with it so im guessing its something mechanical any advice would be helpful

Probably a broken part. I had the same issue and it was the little plastic piece that attached the wire to the handle mechanism. Very easy to fix, generic door handle parts from any auto store will likely work.

take off the inner door panel and see if there is anything disconnected.

Pull the door panel off, if you don't have a heated garage take your door off and take it in the house to work on it.

If you take the door panel off and you can't figure out what's wrong you can always take the working doors panel off for reference.

Let us know if you need help getting the door panel off, if it's a full door your going to want to start with taking the window crank off.

you can go the cheap route to repair it by bending the end of the metal rod so it stays in better. this way you wont have to replace the broken piece. worked for me!
