Door Surrounds

Anybody know of a place to get door surrounds (softtop)?? I am NOT going to go to MOPAR and pay 210 bucks for 2 pieces of plastic . I rolled the jeep and broke the passenger side surround. I need a new top already but this is just going to make me blow a gasket if I have to pay almost as much for the surrounds as I do for the top. GRRR

If you haven't gotten more out of the insurance company than you deserve, then you haven't screwed them nearly as much as they have been screwing you for the past xx years.

I see them on Jeep Forum pretty regularly. And, of course, try ebay.

I was trying not to buy used since most people do what I do with them and crack them in a few places from rubbing them on trees and the such. I would like to just get new ones but they are damn pricey. Then I need a new top also so this jeep is costing me some money this fall. Clutch,Axle ujoints, hub kits need to be rebuilt, both my axle seals in the rear are leaking, pinion seal is leaking again, rear brake pads. Needs a alignment lol.

I don't remember seeing any in bad shape on JF. Doesn't mean they weren't, but I swear most of them said either "like new" or "nothing wrong with them".

Morris 4x4 and qtec have them Josh, but Idk how much they are. you can get only one tho.... When the new Bestops come out they will have surrounds, and folks may be getting rid of theirs if there isn't an option to buy the new tops without the surrounds. (that makes sense in my mind, but I'm old )

I've got a set right here off of my '99 Sahara...haven't gotten around to putting them on eBay yet. Very good condition; practically new. My Trektop came with surrounds, so these are just sitting here.

Any chance you'll be at the Interlake Toys 4 Tots run Saturday? I can bring them along or I can ship to you as well.

There are a lot on ebay all the time. The going price is around 100.00 but deals can be had.

We will start selling factory replacement door surrounds soon, but not certain if they will be a LOT cheaper than MOPAR. Looks like 150-160 for a set.

That's a lot cheaper than mopar Geoff, if I remember correctly, Mopar are about 195 ea and then you gotta spend $40 more for a pair of knobs each....
