Well idk ik with the regular 35 the cross shaft keeps it from moving in and out so the c clips can't fall out, but I'm not sure how it is with a super 35 kit cuz that gets rid of the c clips doesn't it

you know what ..... i bought the axle already built ... i will have to check if the guy just changed the axles to 30 splines to be used with the lockers and the gears.... supposedly the superior D35 had the C clip eliminator but i talked to the previous owner and he said he does not have that....but im still have some doubts so i will have to open that baby up .... im so stupid and to think that i actually had a visual inspections of the internals to verify that it was all there, and i didnt manage to check for that.

U shouldn't have to take the cover off, although it wouldn't b a bad idea, if it has a c clip emininator u should b able to take the wheel and drum off and c if the shaft is bolted to the tube via a plate or not, but I would take the cover off to verify anyway, never hurts

oh well .... nope i have not seen such a thing on her... i looked at it yesterday trying to figure out why it was giving me that clunk noise.

Well I would pull it apart and look at everything just to be sure everything inside is ok

did you had a chance to check the driveshaft play you have when turning it by hand ?

ok so new tom woods front driveshaft is on the way ... plus i just ordered a 30 spline axle for the rear driver side since it had a "wobble" and well it might be bent, but i been driving the jeep without the front shaft and the vibrations are all gone. There might be just a little but i think is coming from that wobble.
