driveshaft broke off and pinion and stuff

Oops! broke my driveshaft out as well as a pinion - wtf?





Should i go beefier?

What does the pinion shaft side of things look like?

If someone installed the R&P gears besides the factory, I'm betting they screwed up setting the gears up properly. Or perhaps the gear lube was low or contaminated from water.

Umm ...that wont buff out.

I'm assuming the pinion nut came off and the pinion slipped into the rear diff and your driveshaft fell.
