Dual exhaust? Anybody done it to a Tj

I recently got a Flowmaster 40 series given to me. The only problem is it is a single inlet dual outlet. I was thinking if i can route it I am going to make a custom dual exhaust from the muffler back. I know its pointless for performance but it looks sweet and its either that or block off one side of the muffler. anybody have any expierience routing the second side? Thanks for the help

I'm trying to think of a 'why'...

Would be worried that it'd get ripped off by the rocks.

I would rather just run a 3" exhaust all the way with a high flow cat and a flowmaster.

They do make flow threw ones. What do you think of a 3" exaust highflowcat then a flow threw muffler with a turn down that would sound bad ass.

Turn downs are loud as hell. lol I ran my flowmaster with a turndown for about a week until my head started ringing. Now i have a 2.5" tail pipe and it sounds much better.

Any one wants my 50 delta for some cash?

I should put on a electric cut off on my tj that I have. lol A glass pack with a turn down would be sweet. I like loud your also in a crowded area so being really loud isn't the best thing.

Lol it sounds like NO muffler

I ran my jeep around the street to give it a shot, when accelerating its very loud, when cruizing with 35mph its not bad. I liked how it sounded under WOT. You could hear the air ripping out of the pipe.

I took a vid of the 4.0 with open headers. I just used the digi cam for it and really doesn't do it justice. It sound really good for a i6. Sounds even better in real life. I think It would be really funny to put dumps on it. I should do it when I replace my cat.

yeah but its videos dont have sound
the one we have isnt all that great, it takes really good pics, but it doesnt do anything else, the reason we got it is it is waterproof and can go in water up to like 20 feet, which is key since our last 2 digital cameras drowned while we were kayaking and hiking in the rain haha

My girl friend got a camera. Its a video camera so its not those picture cameras that can take videos. Its a camera made for videos however it uses a sd card so to upload videos its just like a regular picture camera. No need to mess with tapes or anything.

dumping it after the axle. no tail pipe.

its just a short piece of pipe coming off the muffler that points down. like a really short tail pipe.

Turn down is straight down right after the muffler. I have a half tail pipe that goes over the axle and down and thats it. Its nice like that but a turn down was just loud.

(duct tape just to test fit before welding)

sound a bit raspy because of the cam but in real life its deeper.

No tail pipe at all just straight out the muffler.
loud as hell (crackling camera microphone)

not to sound like an idiot but what exactly is a dump and how do they work? i want to run a flowmaster super 40 single in dual out with 2.25" piping and 3.5" tips. but it'd be nice to control the noise.
