electric fan ?

I had just installed the Taurus e fan (works great)
but I haven't installed the adjustable thermostat to kick it on automatically
when the engine temp gets so hot or the ac is on.
right now its just on the switch

when I wire the e fan adjustable thermostat can I tap into the wires on the factory temp switch on the thermostat housing
or do I have to use the radiator fins probe that comes with it

Use the probe that comes with the kit.

do not tap into those wires, they need a certain amount of resistance to work properlly to get the signal to your comp then to your gauge. if its a little tweaked the motor will think its 0 degrees all the time and you will run really rich.

I did that myself a while ago. I burned a 1/4 tank in 30miles

I have it all wired in I was just hoping to wire it into the factory thermostat but I guess it would be a bad Idea
but so far the fan work great it sucks more air then the clutch fan ever did
when the fan is on high it will hold a piece of paper on the grill
well it practically does that on low

The hole day wheeling with the ac on and my jeep didn't go above 212
the high fan would kick on and drop the temp
with the clutch fan wheeling with the ac on the jeep would almost over heat
never did but it would run pretty hot

is there a kit with all parts i need? link to it?

is there a good write-up about installing a e-fan instead of the stock fan?
