Electric fan conversion

I've heard of putting a fan in front of the radiator to improve air flow along with the stock mechanical fan and I've also heard of guys totally replacing their stock mechanical fan with an electric one. I was wondering how you guys would rate doing this.

I converted mine to a flex-a-lite fan. For a few reasons. I do alot of deep water crossings and being able to turn the fan off is a great help to prevent having a propeller on the front of my engine throwing water everywhere. Gets chilly here in the winter and the engine heats up alot faster without the constant turning of a fan tied to the motor. The fan also puts out more CFM then the stock clutch fan and keeps the motor cooler. And not to mention the horsepower you free up from not having that drag from the fan on motor. I run mine on a 3 stage toggle so i can have normal auto mode(probe in the radiator determines when it comes on-and the temp is preset by you and adjustable), always on mode...which means i can run the fan with the jeep off....and off of course. I highly reccomend it personally. As far as the pusher fan on outside of the radiator i havent messed with them....seems kinda cheesy imo.
