Electric Fan Mod Problems

I just replaced my old electric fan with a new one and decided to scrap the control box that came with it opting to use a toggle switch in my dash. Basically a quick way to keep the fan from getting fried in the mud (again) and all was well but the original setup used the control so I needed to reconnect the relay to get my AC back running. Problem is that now the AC seems to be on always, the interior is off but the ac lines in the enigne are frosty after a short drive. I think its trying to push max cold air but its going no where and frosting my lines. How do i fix this? I dont quite understand why its suddenly doing this but I need to fix it so I dont damage my AC.
Thanks for the help.

its a flex a lite fan if that matters.

did you wire it up so when the AC turns on the Fan turns on too? If you are running your heater the AC will also kick on

No, I believe the way it was wired before the ac would make the fan kick on, but i have not hooked it back up that way, I just wired it to the battery and put a switch on the ground so I could control the fan from the interior. I actually had no ac at all ten i realized a wire was coming from the ac to were the control switch used to be and then of course there was another wire going back to the dash, I assumed I needed to connect the two to complete the circuit and get my ac back on. Now the problem is that when there is no ac on at all, heater off as well, im getting a frost buildup on my condenser lines... its on but why?....

I know I just restated everything but i thought i was clearer this time

I have the opposite problem.. Can you tell me which wire is it that you tapped into for the AC.. I actually need the fan to turn on when I have the AC on.

I am looking into installing a electric fan on my 2004 TJ 4.0. I purcased the electric fan already that puts out 2400 something? I'm not sure what it said I haven't got the paperwork anymore due to wife cleaning up the garage. But it what the fan puts out for cooling. I was told to get a fan that puts out at least 2300 for proper cooling. Has anyone installed a electric fan that can give me some pointers? This is the first Jeep I've owned with a/c, its kind of nice if your out on a long road with the top on.
