Buddy 3 doors down is trying to start her TJ ans most of the times it clicks but sometimes starts. I put the meter to the battery and got 1.3 volts. I don't know how to use the meter well enough to test the alternator and the starter kicks over on first try but now after. It's a 205 TJ, 4.0. 6 speed, 53K miles.
Are you saying the first time she hits the key the engine will turn over fine but won't turn over properly a second or third try?

Arguing with a truck driver is like wrestling with a pig in mud, eventually you realize the pig enjoys it.
1.3Volts = Dead Battery....I Concur....
1. Disconnect And Charge
2. Bad Alternator will slowly kill charged battery = Bad Alternator
3. Vehicle will continue too run with battery bad maybe even disconected, pull negative terminal...
