you got enough gas in the tank?
it could be sucking air.

it spewed out? even with the cap on? could the a leaking cap maybe?
I need more information about your engine dying. is it when you moving or when you stopped? underload or idling? auto or manual?

No. i was making a comment about the the tank being full. Its an 05 4.0 6speed. it acted like a carb. Hit the bank, make it about half way up and goes dead. No smoke when it cranks back up but did take more to get it cranked and running.

Lug it out in the wrong gear or did it just stall right out of the blue with the RPMs up?

Well. preaty much just stalled out. I was i 2nd around 4500. Did it twice. The 3rd time I was being pulled up the bank and still died. Felt kind of bad the V8 carb. guys were making fun of me. I was being mean to it now. I wouldnt be suprised if tires wernt off the ground. Acted just like a old carbed engine, died and took a lot of cranking to get it back running but didnt see any smoke. Hell i dont know, may have gotn some water in it

I wonder if it could be the crank sensor. Try wiggling the wire and connector while running - see if you can stall it.

And - open the connector, clean it, put a tad of dielectric grease in it, put it back together. See if that helps.
