Engine ID #?

Just purchased a 1998 Wrangler 4cyl 5spd SE/TJ with 108k. The seller tells me he put a rebuilt motor in it but has no idea how many miles were on it. He's not even sure of the year of the engine...makes two of us. My question; I found some numbers on the block (610H2), as well as a longer number
(8933063959). Can these numbers help to identify the year of the engine? Is it possible to plug these numbers in to something like a carfax and find out what this engine came out of. Thank you for your patience with another newbie....
