Engine light

Any trick on how to turn the engine light off on a 01 wrangler?

Has the problem been fixed? If so the mechanic should have had it shut off. If not, you can turn it off all you want and if the problem persists it will come back on. Some people undo the neg terminal and wait a few min, but a scan tool should be used(if fixed).

It went on cuz I ran it with the gas cap off lol

Leave your battery unhooked for half hour to ensure your ECM discharges the memory.
