Engine light on tj

I was plowing snow and got hung up. All 4 wheels were up in snow. I finally got out with shoveling and rocking. 2005 X automatic 6. Now my engine light won't go out. Oil, water, tranmission fluid all good.Runs fine but the light won't go out. I plowed for 2 hours with the light on and no problem. Sounded normal and no overheating smell. The only other issue is I had trouble getting in into 2w/4whi/4wlo. It seems fine now I think I had snow where it should not have been. I lifted the blade and tried to push the top of the pile with a running start and ended up ontop of the pile. The light is not flashing only staying on.

There is a kew trick to flash the code... We need the code to diagnose anything.., or just take a ride to autozone or a parts place. Most read codes for free.

Thw key trick is put the key in, turn in to on then off 3 times and leave the key in the on position. You must completle the key cycle in 5 seconds and the code should pop up ie... pxxxx

Went to AUTO-ZONE. There is only one code P0573 Brake switch circuit. Look in HAYNES and it says Cruise control/brake switch A,circuit high. What does this mean?

Disconnect the battery's negative lead for 2-3 minutes to clear the code. Probably just a temporary glitch. Don't worry about the code unless it comes back again. No need to go to Autozone to read your TJ's diagnostic codes, use the technique given to you by Littleyellow to read your own codes in the future.
When you have a choice, buy American.
