Engine Swap 2.5 to 4.0

Getting ready to swap out my '97 2.5 for a '06 4.0. The motor is free and has only a few hundred miles that's why I'm not going bigger. Problem I have is the "new" motor doesn't have the ECM with it. Any idea the best way to get one? Hate to go to dealerships - they're always so overpriced. Haven't done any research yet - thought I'd throw it out to you guys while doing so.

You can find a rebuilt PCM on eBay, they can sometimes be found as cheap as $150.

97 to a 06 is going to be a big job. The mechanical part will be fine, but the electrical I fear will be a nightmare. Check Ebay and some salvage yards for parts. Getting everything to mate up electrically will be a challenge. Best of luck oh yea and welcome to the addiction...I mean forum.
