Engine swap

I have a 4 cylinder manual shift jeep wrangler. Can i swap the engine with an automatic 6 cylinder jeep cherokee?

If you have fabricating skills and the know how...it's possible. But it's not plug-n-play nor simple. Rumor is that its about the same effort to do a custom install of a V8.

Yeah, but then you gotta do all the other stuff like axles, transmission, transfer case, to make it reliable.
