exhaust manifold "repair" not fix

I was able to pinpoint where the exhaust manifold was "cracked"...I saw the "spark"...is there something I can use "jb weld" or something that would work and hold up to the heat/safety?
I'd rather not replace now if I don't have to..
tks

i had a Ford and i tried all sorts of stuff to fix a small crack. none of them worked for long (more than a week or so).

on my YJ the manifold was cracked so that, if it weren't for the "skirts", it would have been in 3 pieces. found a replacement on the net for ~100 bucks, iirc

None of the products on the market will hold up to the heat that comes off the exhaust manifold. You can try taking it out and welding it back up, but once they start they aren't going to stop. The problem is because the materials the stock manifold is made out of don't expand and contract well. So it's only a matter of time and they are going to stress crack. The 2k and new models fixed that issue with expansion joints in the 1 and 6 tubes.
