Okay I have tried for 3 hours...How in the hell do you get the factory exhaust off the damn jeep? I took the 2 nuts off the cat connection and took all the hangers off...whats the trick guys?
Yea it is kinda funny...I wanted to take it off so that I could put my borla cat back on but I dont want to cut up the factory unti because if I ever go to trade it or sell it I dont want to give them anything else if they dont pay for it, ya know what I mean?
Try using some PB blaster on the connection. Let it sit for about 20 min. It will probably come right off. I've used it on 30 year old rusty bolts and it does the trick.

Drop your transfer case skid plate, I know it's a lot of work, but if you do that, you should be able to wiggle the tail pipe past the rear axle. You may have to pull the shock as well.
Is there a crossmember or something that holds the transfercase in? I guess what I am asking is if I lower the skid plate will that drop my transfer case as well? If so will that hurt the engine mounts?
No, there is no separate crossmember. Just put a jackstand under the rear of your trans. as close as you can get to the transfer case skid. It will hold everything in place and make bolting the skid in easier.
Oh ok..so i guess just drop it enough to get the exhaust by the plate and the back up into place. Sounds easy enough.
