fan setting and axles

hello im new to my jeep, had it about a month and had two questions
i have a 00 wrangler sport I6 4.0
1) i dont know what all the settings are for where the air comes out on the far right dial for climate control, if you could tell me what some of these are that be great, i have a picture but i dont know how to post it.

2) for this jeep what are the axles, i think the rear is a Dana 35 but im not sure and i have no idea what the front is.

any help would be great thanks

You have a dana 30 front.. rear could be dana 35(plastic drain plug) or dana 44(metal plug)

HVAC controls

All the way to right is defrost, then its a mix from there, defrost and floor, floor only etc... then the snow flake is AC if you have it.

hijack...should the compressor only be coming on when your in the snowflake area? My compressor seems to kick on even if I am using the heater on the floor or defrost.

The compressor will come on while using the defrost setting. That is on purpose.
