Finally got diff gears changed

I had my 3.07 gears changed out to 4.56 with LSD in the rear. My rig drives great now but I still have one problem. My speedo is way off; it reads approximately 15 MPH faster than I am traveling. I need to change the speedo gear; but for 4.56 gears with 33" tires I need a 39 tooth gear. I have not been able to find one yet; any suggestions?

Gear change cost and bigger tires

My gear change cost me a packet. I could not find anyone around here whom I trusted to do it. I ended up going to Louisville4-wheel Drive and with the limited slip diff I paid 2k.
Yes, I intend to fit 35's at some point which is why I went with 4.56 instead of 4.11; however, my Claws are pratically new and cost best part of a thousand dollars so it will be a while yet.

Recalibrating your speedometer takes 5 minutes and a $15 snap-in speedometer gear. Here's how to swap the speedometer gear out using just a 1/2" wrench and 5 minutes of your time... http://www.jeepin.com/features/speedogear/index.asp

So far as the 39 tooth gear goes, they're in big demand and hard to find. Maybe I should auction mine off on eBay.

Speedo Gear

Thanks Jerry,
I have found a couple of sites that sell the 39 tooth gear but they want thirty bucks. Right now it is worth it to me because my speedo is so far off (about 15mph) I have no idea what speed I am going unless I sit there subtracting while the needle moves. Plus my odometer is running up more miles than I am doing and I don't want that for too long.

I just use my GPS for my speedometer. Eventually I'll get a speedo gear, but until then it's just as easy to monitor the GPS.
