Fixing A Seat Belt

How does one fix a seat belt that does not unlock so you cannot pull it out to buckle?

Ohhhhhhh, as I recall it isn't easy. I'll see if I can find something for you. It's stuck in the take up reel thingy?

Mine does that to me all the time on the trail and it won't reset until the Jeep is fairly level. It makes me nuts!
I have even considered installing another lap belt only that I can use for trail riding only.

I was trying to help out a fellow jeep buddy of mine. It's her dd, so she caved and decided to go to the stealership to get it fixed. I guess it was stuck tight. Thanks for trying though, guys
