Floor leak

I have a 2004 and when i pulled the carpet from the front passenger side it was really dirty underneath with a little moisture. i found where the flooring goes over the transmission hump there is about a 3/16 inch gap between the piece under the seat that sits over the piece of metal for the floor that someone had put what looks like silicone caulk. i'm wondering if this is a common issue or i just got lucky. also wondering the best way to fix, maybe rtv sealant.

moisture is most likely coming from your A/C drain. You can buy a piece of hose from lowes here is a link to the thread I had started about the problem


The other part I'm not sure about some pictures would help us out.
