Fogs in stock bumper?

So in all of my messing around with my bumpers the last couple weekends, I have been thinking about what I want for bumpers. I kind of want to stay with the stocks, but add some options to make them my own. I really like the in bumper fogs on the JKs, and was thinking this should be an easy mod to the stock bumper, as long as I place them outside of the hooks. What I haven't been able to find are any lights that look like they would work, preferably with a small trim ring/bezel like the JKs have around them.

I'd like to also add a small light bar that would hopefully bolt on with the tow hooks (maybe with a pair of standard lights, maybe not), and then the winch/plate behind. Anybody done anything like this? Pics? Also, welcome any advice as to what wouldn't work about this.

The concept:

Ive seen a couple other threads about adding fog lights how you want. Just search around.

Olympic 4x4 makes a light bar exactly as you described. Good price too. Reviews seem good.

I want to do lights like that too! But i want to try and find some shallow lights, that i could mount INSIDE the tow hooks, spaced like on a JK... but i have to find a set that wouldnt hit the tube behind the bumper... any ideas on that?

I think they'd have to come out the front quite a bit. There's only maybe an inch behind the bumper face to the tube IIRC.

Ya, they are going to have to be super shallow... dont mind them sticking out <1/2", but i havent been able to find any that would work so far. having a hard time finding any that will flush mount like that, much less shallow. anyone know a good place to look for lights like that? how is your search going BigDaddyAT?

I just did a quick Google search on "surface mount led driving lights" and here is one. I am sure there are lots of other possibilities out there. Feniex Cannon LED Lighthead

Or just install a JK bumper http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/fron...er-223587.html

Haven't been looking at all right now. I have a few other needs that come first (spare, swing mount, etc.). The difference is that by going outside of the tow hooks, I can have them be several inches deep (as deep as the bumper even), ans there is nothing in the bumper in that area. The only real restrictions there are the inside height of the bumper, and finding a light that size that will just seal itself into a cut hole...

Definitely not looking for a surface mounted one. Ideally i want about a 3" round fog light that has an integral trim ring/bezel so that it can be installed into an approx. 3" diameter hole cut into the bumper.
