Thumbs down front axle u-joint help ?

Ok was changeing frotn u-joint,this thang was froze in there so after along time of trying to beat it out I took it to the local parts shop to have them press it out was there for 3 hrs it took them hour and a half to get it out!!!And the cracked my out side shaft putting it back in,Where can i find just the outer stub shaft for the driver side front axle ???

Check ebay, or buy one from Northridge 4x4 or 4x4Rockshop. Any of the online places should carry them.

Did you and them remeber to remove the clips on the u-joints... I had a friend that forgot this little step since they were all dirty and endup up bending the ears when using the Ball Joint press.

Run to the junkyard and find a dana 30 in a jeep and pull it. Never bad ot have extra shafts laying around either.

So the dana 30 end shaft is the same on the 44 ?

The part you're looking for is commonly called the outer stub shaft and the TJ Dana 30's is the same as what is on the Rubicon's front Dana 44.
