I was pulling my subdivision and went to put on brakes and jeep pulled very hard to left. I got it home and could smell brake burning smell on front right. I have checked fluid and front break line and all looks good. Rotor and pads wearing smooth. Could it be a caliber gone bad?
Same thing happened to me on the 97 TJ. Darn near burned it up. The problem was a stuck right front caliber. Had to have a new rotor, caliber, pads, brake fluid. Got so hot the fluid boiled. Find yourself a good brake shop, as you need good brakes. :wavey:
I ended up having to replace the calipers...I took the old one off and cleaned and reinstalled and it locked right up..So I headed to the parts house and bought 2 new one and just got back from a test drive. I am back in business
