Front Diff Locker Relay

Does anyone know where I can get a "Front Diff Locker Relay"? I need it to install the oem rubi lockers. Also does anyone know of any write ups on how to wire up the rubi locker? I already tried looking around for the wiring of it but could not find good info. Thanks.

You don't need a relay to wire the Rubicon compressor. All you need to do is to provide the compressor a source of 12v that you wire an on-off switch into. Turn the switch on, the compressor turns on & locks the locker. The compressor has an internal switch to shut itself off when the required air pressure has been reached. The compressor doesn't draw much current, my two Rubicon compressors are protected by a pair of 5 amp fuses.

Oh ok. Do you happen to know about how to wire the sensor from the axle to the cluster so the FRONT AXLE LOCK light is on? Thanks

The locker lights in the instrument cluster are controlled by the computer & I never bothered to get that deep into the circuit. It'd probably take some 5v logic-level voltage work to trick the computer to illuminate that light since the computer also checks around to make sure everything is working as the computer expects it to.

My TJ is a Rubicon so I left that part of the circuit connected so at least my dash locker lights flash while the lockers are on. I only rewired the part that controls the two compressors controlled by the pair of on-off switches added to the dash where the ash tray used to be. I had to rewire it since that part of the circuit wasn't working when I bought the Rubicon used.

If your TJ came with the Rubicon wiring harness connectors that plug into the top of the Rubicon axles, and I would bet they are there, I'd plug the front axle connector into the top of the new axle. At the least it would probably cause the dash light to slow-flash when the new locker is enabled. I don't mind that my locker lights never stop flashing while they are in use... it kind of serves as a reminder to shut them off when not needed.

Yea I was able to grab a rubi d44 front axle and I going to swap out my d30 with it thats why I ask. My Jeep is an TJ/LJ non rubicon so I doubt it has the rubicon wiring harness. It would be nice if I could find a way to wire it so the sensor works with my cluster light but from reading what you replied it would be pretty difficult. Thanks for the input!
