front drive shaft noise? cv joint

2004 jeep wrangler 4.0 5spd, so i rebuilt the front drive shaft and cv joint around x mas time and that the last time i used the 4wd , And today i got to use it agin finely and noticed theres a dry bearing sound. Its not squeeking but you can hear the bearings when speed increases. Is it normal to hear some bearing noise threw the floor? also the is not carpet and i did grease the cv joint till grease came out and all u joints are brand new.

I just recently rebuilt mine and replaced the centering ball assembly and all 3 u joints and it's quiet as a mouse. Just a thought but did you mark and put back the cv joint assembly back on the way it came off?

yes sir put it back together how it came apart, it was quite but not sure if it loosed up or if it needs more grease. Its quite when not in 4wd, i just dont have a jack or a garage to get up under there to grease the cv joint some more.

Does the noise begin when you are accelerating from a stop? And right under your feet pretty much?
