I just replaced my steering box, but still seems to have some play, and I'm looking at my tie rod, which I believe is also bent. I'm looking for a option to the stocker, I have a Synergy one on our JK, nice Piece, but all they show for the TJ is SYNERGY MANUFACTURINGÂ*::Â*SteeringÂ*::Â*Synergy Jeep TJ/LJ, XJ, ZJ, MJ Heavy Duty Steering Kit

Don't want to spend $550 right now, what other options are there??

Thanks

So I replaced the front end, drag link, tie rod and ends, pretty easy, less than an hour. It definately needed to be done, the end at the pitnam arm was wasted, so all new and shiny but it still feels like there's play. I'm wondering about the steering box, it's a rebuilt by Cardone, put it in last weekend. I would imagine it would be adjusted from the factory, but now I'm thinking of checking to see if it could be tightened up.

Just wondering if anyone has done this. The ball joints seem good from what I can tell, and there isn't much left to replace.

Thx

My ZJ tie rod made a world of difference. I wrapped mine in electrical conduit as well to protect it in case I slide off a rock and smash it, they'll still cover my warranty ;)

Jeep TJ Tie-Rod Upgrade -

$146 seems expensive though? I priced you USA guys at about $86... we get hammered here in Canada and I dropped $211 to do it...
