That cute animation of an independent front suspension (our Jeeps use a solid axle) and the rest of what you said does not affect the fact that the trackbar and drag link are not the same lengths. Go measure yours if you persist in believing they must be the same length. What you'll find is likely to be about a 4" difference, with the track bar being about 4" shorter.

All you would have had to have done was to measure your own stuff to have realized they're not the same length.

37 on the drag link and 32 on the track bar and i do have bump steer.

Fine, I have a 4" difference and ZERO bump steer because my TJ's steering geometry is correct. My dropped Pitman arm is accompanied by a dropped upper trackbar mount which keeps them in their required parallel relationship.

Once again, the trackbar and drag link do not have to be the same length and your comment that moving the trackbar's lower mounting point over 3/4" will cause bump steer is still incorrect. 100% incorrect. Telling him he needed a dropped Pitman arm to correct for that 3/4" difference by relocating the lower mounting point was ESPECIALLY incorrect.

I don't normally say this and I don't like to say this but you're dead wrong on this bump steer issue.

and by what you said earlier.. youd have to increase your trackbar by 5'' or decrease your drag link by 5''..

talk about a pita

i dont have bump steer and i have about a 4'' difference.. without a dropped pitman arm

also i didnt have to drill my trackbar over 3/4'' because i just replaced my stock one with an adjustable jks one
