Hey Everyone,
My fuel gauge is not working on my 97, I found out that there was a recall on the 1997 Wranglers to replace the Fuel Sending Unit. I just got it back from the dealer. They replaced the unit per the recall and my fuel gauge is still not working, the dealer said it must be electrical. Where should I start?
My fuel gauge was not working before I took it to the dealer,I found out about the recall and thought that would be the problem and get it fix for free. The dealer noted that the gauge was not working before the new unit was replaced and still not working after the replacement of new tank unit. Dealer said they could try to fix it for $85 hour.To much for me..
Your right whiteyj, Thats why I thought I would take advantage of the recall and solve this problem, But I was wrong. Anyways all the fuses seem to be fine unless I`m over looking some. All the other gauges work fine.
