Fuel injector cleaner?

Just looking for opinions on Chevron Techron Plus fuel injector cleaner. I've read good things about how it can help gas mileage and just help the truck run smoother...but after my recent fiasco with Stop Leak, I am very reluctant to directly put another additive into the wrangler !

Have fun out there

I don't use additives found they cause bigger problems just fix it right the first time . As for fuel milage it will never be great in a jeep especially on jeeps with big tires and lifts. Hope this helps.

If you are looking to clean your injectors Techron is the best, I've heard. Don't expect MPG gains though

Techron is the only additive I've ever used. Don't expect a mileage increase though. Follow the directions. I've owned EFI engines since 1985 and never had an injector problem. Good luck.

Cheveron Techron cleaner is the only one I will use in my Jeep. I only use it about once a year, all that's all thats it needs.

I used Seafoam in the tank on my last trip over Thanksgiving and it seems to do about 75% of the job of BG44k...which means for me that it outperforms BG44k since it's about 1/3 of the price. By "job", I mean taking care of the vibration and noise in gear. Mileage probably went up slightly as a side-effect of the cleaning, but that's not why I seek out an infrequent tank solution.

However, if you are looking for an annual product to easily run through your fuel system, try to track down a bottle of 44k. Might be easiest to pick some up on eBay since, for some reason, it's IMPOSSIBLE to find locally.
