Fuel pump identification

I pulled my tank today and pulled the fuel pump to replace it. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to identify the difference in 19 gallon pumps and 15 gallon pumps.. The pump in my 99 sahara is the original pump. I tired searching the various numbers that I found on the pump but could not find anything.. I noticed on the float gauge there is a TJ19 and on the wire harness the number is 52100369AB and the barcode number is 7158820224 on the pump motor itself it reads HE16

If you Google 52100369AB you will see that is a Mopar part # fuel pump. Iím pretty sure that TJ19 is a 19 gal unit. Here is a photo of a 15 gal one. Note the TJ15 on it. The only difference is the sending unit. The 15 & 19 gal tanks are the same but the 15s have an extended vent tube to keep you from filling the last 4 gal. The sender is different to show the tank is full when it really isnít. If you have a 52100369AB in it now & the gauge is (mostly) accurate then you must have the 19 gal tank & need another 19 gal unit.

Honestly search it.The tanks are the same regardless. Its the length of the filler tube that determines how much fuel goes into the tank

Your Sahara came with the 19 gallon tank, only very basic stripped down TJs came with the 15 gallon tank.

I went to the dodge garage with fuel pump in hand as well as VIN number and they confirmed it to be a 19gallon.. I searched for hours online yesterday and could not find any info.. Funny thing is the garage couldn't even confirm it was 19 gallon without the vin number. The guy at the parts counter said not to rely on the numbers on the pump...lol
