With your 4.0L, 5-speed manual transmission, and 33" tires, 4.56 would be the ideal gear ratio. Based on your comments, it sounds like your axles have the factory 3.73 gearing. You'd be complaining a lot more if it had the other possible gear ratio which is 3.07.

If you can give your exact engine rpms at, say, 65 mph, when in 4th gear (or 5th), I can tell you what axle ratio you currently have. Just give me your exact speed, exact engine rpm, & whether you're in 4th or 5th gear. 65 or 70 mph would give the most accurate results.

Your automatic is the 3-speed, 4.10 would be ideal for 33" tires.
