I never checked my gear ratio since I got my new tires. Here is what I came up with:
-I rotated my tire while counting drive line rotations and I came up with 45/10 Rear and 44/10 Front, so that's roughly giving me a 4.5 correct?
if you are doing full rotations with an open diffy you should only jack up one wheel and count drive-shaft rotations (by marking one spot on u joint) and count 1/4 rotations of drive-shaft for 2 full tire rotations
You mark inside tire with chalk and one u joint cross then turn drive-shaft counting 1/4 1/2 3/4 1 1and 1/4 1and 1/2 ect if you have 4.55/4.56 you should have just over 4 and a half drive-shaft rotations when tire completes its second rotation
Perfect that's what I did. Thanks for the confirmation.
