Gear shift will not go out of park.

Hi all,
ok.. this started a day ago, I have a 05 Wrangler and I cannot get the gear shift out of park, the shift button is soft and it has no resistence at all. Any ideas on what I can do to see what's going on and fix it?

Sounds like the shift linkage cable broke.

Well, I can't copy a link cuz I'm on the iPhone app. Search for "stuck in park" or click on my username and check out my post from 9/28/2010.
