what are the gears in a 98 wrangler 4.O 5spd? thanks!

Or are you asking what the ratio's per each gear is in the AX-15 / 5speed transmission you have?

i want to put 33s on with a 3.5 RE lift and i just dont know what my gears are now. its kinda slugish with 31s, at 65 im only running 2200rpm

if it's slugish with 31's I'd bet you have 3.07 gears. That won't work with 33's. You need 4.56

no to hijack.. but were on the subject...

ive got a 97 4cyl.. and im wondering what my limit is tire wise before i need to swap the gearing..

its got 30s on it now, and im putting my 31s on there next week..

just wondering what the limit is.

it'll be reasonable with 31's, tolerable to unbearable with 33's

yeah i just looked they are 3.07 what will my rpms be at 65 with 4.56?

32 with your stock gears. It will still be slow but with the 4 squirrels you know how that is.

use the chart on 4lo.com

4.56 is ideal with your tire/engine/trans combo

if you want 4wd to work then yes

If you do not do both the front and rear diff gears and put it in 4wd....say goodbye to alot of money.

Yes both. Price depend on your mechanic's and parts. Usually to get them done front and rear $800 to $1600.
