Grease question

I finally finished off the grease in my gun. I'm not sure I want to stick with the red mobile 1 synthetic grease I have been using, it drips out of the zirk fittings constantly, it seems like its to thin. My question is, can I start using a different brand of grease in my fittings even though they are all filled with Mobil 1 syn, can you mix grease or do I have to pump all the red grease (mobile 1) out of the zirks to add a different kind. Or should I just stick with the mobil 1?

My OBM uses a marine grade synthetic. It holds up well to the mud and goo when we get into it.
I don't think you should worry about getting all of the Mobil 1 out of the joints, eventually it will be displaced by the new product as you continue to "fill 'er up"
